Who we are

AI Insight Creations is a Wales-based team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, and software developers. We started in 2021 with a single goal: make AI practical for mid-sized companies that lack the budget for a full in-house data team.

Most of our clients come to us after a failed proof-of-concept elsewhere. The model worked in a notebook but never made it to production. We fix that. Every project we take on has a deployment plan before we write a single line of training code.

Our office sits in Farrellfield, but we work with clients across the UK and Europe. Remote collaboration is our default, and we keep meetings short so engineers can actually engineer.

What we build

Each engagement starts with your data. We audit what you have, identify gaps, and propose a model architecture before any contract is signed.

Machine learning models

Supervised and unsupervised models for classification, regression, and clustering. We work with tabular data, time series, and structured text. Typical turnaround from data handoff to a production-ready API: six to eight weeks.

Predictive analytics

Forecast demand, churn, equipment failure, or cash flow. We connect models directly to your BI dashboards so decision-makers see predictions where they already look, not in a separate tool they will forget about.

Natural language processing

Sentiment analysis on customer reviews, automated document extraction from invoices and contracts, chatbot backends that actually understand context. We fine-tune open-source large language models on your domain-specific corpus.

Computer vision

Object detection for manufacturing quality control, medical image classification, and retail shelf monitoring. We train custom YOLO and EfficientNet variants that run on edge devices or cloud endpoints, depending on your latency requirements.

Data pipeline engineering

A model is only as good as the data feeding it. We build extraction, transformation, and loading pipelines using Apache Airflow and dbt, schedule retraining jobs, and set up drift-detection alerts so your model stays accurate over months.

AI strategy consulting

Not sure where AI fits your business? We run a two-day workshop with your leadership team, map every process that touches data, score each one for automation potential, and deliver a prioritised roadmap with cost estimates. No code required at this stage.

How a project runs

From first call to production deployment, here is what to expect.

Discovery call

We spend 45 minutes understanding your problem, your data sources, and what success looks like. This call is free and has no strings attached.

Data audit

Our engineers review a sample of your data for quality, completeness, and bias. We deliver a written report within five business days, including a go/no-go recommendation.

Prototype

We build a minimal model and test it against a hold-out set. You see real metrics, not slides. If accuracy does not meet the agreed threshold, we stop and you owe nothing beyond the audit fee.

Production deploy

The model ships as a containerised API behind your firewall or on your cloud provider. We include monitoring, logging, and a retraining schedule. Handover documentation covers everything your ops team needs.

Why companies choose us

Speed matters. Our average time from signed contract to a working prototype is 18 days. We achieve that by reusing battle-tested infrastructure: containerised training environments, pre-configured CI/CD pipelines, and a library of feature engineering modules we have refined across dozens of projects.

Transparency matters more. Every week you get a short written update with current model performance, blockers, and next steps. No jargon-heavy status calls that eat your afternoon.

We charge fixed fees for defined scopes. If the scope changes, we re-quote before doing additional work. Surprise invoices destroy trust, and trust is the only thing that keeps a technical partnership productive.

After deployment, we offer a 90-day support window included in the project price. During that period, we fix bugs, tune hyperparameters if incoming data shifts, and answer your team's questions. Extended support contracts are available on a monthly basis after that window closes.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the things clients ask most often.

How much data do I need to start?
It depends on the task. For tabular classification, a few thousand labelled rows is often enough to build a useful prototype. Image models typically need more, around 500 to 1,000 labelled images per class. During the data audit we tell you exactly whether your volume is sufficient or if we need to augment.
Can you work with data that stays on our servers?
Yes. We regularly work inside client VPNs and private cloud tenants. If your compliance rules prohibit data leaving the UK, we train on your infrastructure and never download raw data to our own machines. We are comfortable with AWS, Azure, and GCP private environments.
What programming languages and frameworks do you use?
Python is our primary language. We use PyTorch for deep learning, scikit-learn for classical ML, and Hugging Face Transformers for NLP tasks. APIs are built with FastAPI or Flask, containerised with Docker, and orchestrated with Kubernetes when scale demands it.
Do you offer ongoing model maintenance?
Every project includes 90 days of post-deployment support at no extra cost. After that, we offer monthly retainer plans that cover retraining, performance monitoring, and priority bug fixes. Retainer pricing depends on the number of models and the retraining frequency you need.
How do you price your projects?
We quote a fixed fee after the data audit. The audit itself costs £750 and is credited toward the project if you proceed. Typical end-to-end projects range from £8,000 for a straightforward classification model to £45,000 or more for complex multi-model systems with real-time inference requirements.
